Das ausgestellte Stück zeigt einen Wollpullover in Work in Progress. Der von Motten zerfressene Pullover wurde mit der Webstopftechnik per Hand repariert.

Bei RESI Slow Fashion dreht sich alles um die Reparatur von Kleidung. Dabei steht Visible Mending - die sichtbare Reparatur, im Fokus. Per Hand werden Kleidungsstücke mit Löchern, Rissen oder Flecken mit klassischen Stick- & Stopftechniken repariert. Durch das kreative sichtbar machen der reparierten Stellen, entsteht nicht nur ein neues Design, sondern die Reparatur selbst wird zum politisch Statement für einen achsamen Konsum von Kleidung.

Using classic embroidery and darning techniques, damaged items are made wearable again, making a clear statement against the throwaway culture.

The piece on display is a wool sweater currently a work in progress. The sweater, which had been eaten away by moths, was repaired by hand using the weaving darning technique.

RESI Slow Fashion is all about repairing clothing. The focus is on visible mending. Garments with holes, tears, or stains are repaired by hand using classic embroidery and darning techniques. By creatively highlighting the repaired areas, not only is a new design created, but the repair itself becomes a political statement advocating for mindful consumption of clothing.
