„Integrated Corsetry“ Pt. 1
Eine Kollaboration von Royal Black Couture & Bugaric
Dieses Kleid ist eines der Modelle, die die beiden wiener Designer*innen für eine Tutorial-Serie zum Thema „integrated Corsetry“ gemeinsam entworfen und angefertigt haben, um ihr Wissen an Kolleg*innen und Interessierte weiterzugeben.
Das Foundation-Korsett - eine unsichtbar in das Kleid eingenähte Stützstruktur – wurde von Barbara Pesendorfer gefertigt.
Die äußere Lage – ein Samtkleid aus Vintage-Stoff wurde von Goran Bugaric entworfen und gefertigt.
Der gesamte Prozess wurde sorgfältig dokumentiert und später in Form eines Tutorial-Buches veröffentlicht, das den Leser*innen vermittelt, wie sie ihre eigenen Kleider mit eingearbeiteten Korsett anfertigen können.

A Collaboration by Royal Black Couture & Bugaric
Two Viennese couture designers joined forces with the aim of sharing their knowledge and passing on their skills. This gown is one of the samples the two designers created for a tutorial series on the subject of „integrated corsetry“.
Barbara Pesendorfer created the foundation corset – an inner supportive structure that is invisibly sewn into the gown.
Goran Bugaric designed and draped the outer layer – a velvet gown made of vintage fabric.
The whole process was carefully documented and later turned into a printable tutorial book that teaches the readers how to create their own gowns with a built in corset.
